 Hello,

My name is Christina Fuentes and I am a junior at West Potomac High School. I have recently started a program called Letters That Love. Our mission is to send cards annually, as well as during holidays and special occasions, to children who had a parent or close loved one pass away. The scheduling is set to send cards around the time of the parent or close loved ones passing or near major holidays. These cards will be written by West Potomac students to provide support in the years following a parent or close loved ones passing.

Five years ago, my own mother passed away. In the years since, outside support has faded which inspired me to start Letters That Love, so that children in our community would not have to experience the lack of support I experienced. Letters That Love would be open to all students, regardless of how long ago their parent or close loved one has passed.

Your help in this effort would be incredibly valuable. If you could share this information, the link for receiving cards, my email, the instagram, and a flier I attached with those in your school community that would be greatly appreciated. We would like for cards to be sent out in time for the upcoming holiday season and for as many kids to be helped and supported as possible!
