2024 Read-a-Thon

The OCES PTA will be hosting a Read-A-Thon fundraiser to ensure we finish the year strong and able to fully fund field trips, sixth grade celebrations, assemblies, and other needs of our school community. In support of Read Across America this month, students can raise money by reading books and getting per-page pledges or flat donations from family and friends.
Registration: Online only
Registration opens March 8th. A flyer with a QR code and URL will be sent home March 8th.
After registering, each child will have their URL and webpage to design and share! Pledges and donations are all done online.
Children can share the webpage with grandparents, relatives, family friends or anyone else who might be willing to donate.
Admin: Kids can update their total pages read online with help from their parents, or they can turn in a "Pages Read" sheet to their teachers on Friday, March 15 and Monday, April 1.
Prizes: Classes that raise $500 or more will receive a popsicle party!
