After School Clubs

OCES PTA will offer clubs run by both teachers and vendors this spring. Clubs will run from 3:25-4:25 p.m. They begin the week of February 2nd and run through April (exact dates vary by club). 

The following clubs will be taught by teachers.  Click here to register for a teacher-led club.

• Jump Rope Club - Mondays with Ms. Alonso. Grades 3-6. 
• Ukulele Club - Mondays with Ms. DaCosta. Grades K-2.  
• Makerspace - with Ms. Ly. Grades 3-6 will meet on Tuesday and K-2 will meet on Thursday.
• Flag Football - Tuesdays with Mr. Carrier and Mr. Frank. Grades 4-6. 
• Card and Boardgame Club - Wednesdays with Ms. Pyatt. All grades. 
• Soccer - Wednesdays with Ms. Philip. Grades 3-6. 
• Basketball - Thursdays with Ms. Cameron and Ms. Spinnler. All grades. 
• Guitar Club - Thursdays with Ms. Van Keuren. Grades 3-6. 
• Crochet Club - Thursdays with Ms. Seunjens. Grades 3-6. 

In addition to these teacher-led clubs, OCES PTA has also partnered with vendors to offer the following clubs: 

OCES Chess Club

Tuition: $213

Schedule: Tuesdays

OCES PTA has partnered with Silver Knights Chess Academy to provide students the chance to learn and practice chess.  The program emphasizes fun, but also sneaks in critical thinking, sportsmanship, and patience.  Chess Club is open to all students and meets on Tuesdays. Click here to register.

OCES Art

Tuition: $180

Schedule: Thursdays

OCES PTA has partnered with Young Rembrants to provide drawing classes.  Your elementary-aged artist will explore basic composition with the Fish Below Ice project and they will travel to the Great Wall of China right from their desk. Sports fans will cheer for our Hockey Player drawing, while budding historians can learn about the master strokes of Leonardo Da Vinci and Franz Marc’s Blue Horse. Click here to register. 

OCES Drama Club

Tuition: $133

Schedule: Fridays

OCES PTA has partnered with Acting For Young People to provide “Take the Stage” this spring. Through theater games, improvisation, and storytelling, young actors will build their skills and confidence as performers in preparation for a special showcase presentation, held on the last class day. Drama club is open to students in grades 1-5 and will meet on Fridays. Click here to register.
